DKIM is an email security standard designed to prevent email spoofing. It allows an organization to take responsibility for a message in transit through a cryptographic signature. Email servers that get these messages can verify this signature to prove that the message hasn’t been altered and that it comes from a specific domain. DKIM, in combination with SPF and DMARC, is vital for enhancing email authenticity and fighting against phishing and spam.
