IIS (Internet Information Services)

IIS, or Internet Information Services, is a flexible, secure, and manageable web server from Microsoft. Used for hosting websites, applications, and services, it's a key component of the Windows Server family. IIS supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SMTP, and NNTP. It is known for its integration with Windows infrastructure, security features, and ability to host multiple websites with different technologies such as ASP.NET and PHP.
