RDS CAL

RDS CAL, or Remote Desktop Services Client Access License, is a license required by Microsoft for each device or user that connects to a Remote Desktop Session Host (RDSH). It's part of Microsoft's licensing mechanism for their Remote Desktop Services (RDS), which allows users to remotely access graphical desktops and Windows applications. RDS CALs are essential in a hosting environment where RDS is used, ensuring legal compliance and enabling multiple users to access the host server simultaneously for their remote computing needs.
